About Me

My passion for photography started at the age of 12. The first photo I took was with a film camera; at a young age I noticed that I loved taking photos of other people. I had an eye for finding the right angles and compositions. It’s funny… I remember creating a “photo studio” in my small bedroom by using different lights and background set ups, to create, what I thought was a professional photo. I organized small shoots and took pictures of my friends and classmates.

One of my oldest friends said “ I remember going to Nelly’s house all prepared for a photoshoot.She had rooms set up, outfits ready and even organised make-up for me. Looking back at these photos they make me smile, even to this day her passion for photography and her impeccable taste amazes me”

As I grew up, the childish game of 'being a photographer' was quickly forgotten as grown up life took over. I was still taking lots of pictures for my social media accounts but it was just a small hobby for me.

The pandemic has been a turning point; during lockdown I found myself with more free time.  I thought about what I could fill my time with & my previous passions from my childhood resurfaced in my mind. With every shoot I began to understand that being a successful photographer would be my dream career, this would be the kind of job that wouldn’t feel like a job at all, because it would bring me a lot of joy and happiness.

Now that I have gained experience working with adequate brands and talented specialists; I work with a team of professionals within their field to produce the best quality photos.
